Chia Seed Jam


  • 150g mixed berries (frozen works well too)
  • OR 150g berries of your choice
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • OR 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds


  • Heat berries in a small saucepan over a medium heat and mash with a spoon until smooth.
  • Add vanilla and sweetener and stir.
  • Take off the heat and let mixture cool a little before adding chia seeds. Stir to combine.
  • Store in a jar/container (make sure to let the jam cool completely before putting it in the fridge).

HFLC adaptation:
Use frozen strawberries and stevia.

The jam should keep up to one week in the fridge.
