Green Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1/4 avocado
  • 1 1/3 cup spinach (roughly 3 generous handfuls)
  • 1 1/4 cup milk of your choice
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries
  • 2 tsp LSA (linseed ground mixture)
  • 20g vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tsp honey
  • OR 1 tsp maple syrup

Method

  • Prep Ingredients: Slice up banana prior to freezing
  • Add all ingredients to a blender (or jug if using a stick blender) and blend until smooth & creamy.
  • Top with Syrup/Honey and toppings as per your specified portion in your nutrition plan.

You can use frozen berries of your choice! Try mixed or raspberries or strawberries on their own!

Try swapping spinach for kale without stems!

FODMAP adaptable:
Use WPI protein (check for high FODMAP ingredients (eg inulin, mannitol).
Choose small banana and keep avocado to 1/8 per serve.
Choose low FODMAP milk (e.g lactose free).
Choose maple syrup instead of honey.
